Most technicians will tell you that if the controller on your Viron P320 eVo pump is not working properly, then you will either have to replace the controller, or the pump. While that is definitely an option for you, we can offer a third, more economical option:
After years of repairing both single speed and variable speed pumps, we looked at all the ‘dead’ Viron controllers and found there were common parts that failed. After a short period of trial and error, we have learned that replacing specific components on the board, and repairing the solder tracks, has given the controllers a new lease on life.
For only $330, our technicians will open up the controller, remove and replace the dead, or dying components, repair any solder tracks that need attention, and put it all back together again for you. All repairs come with 12 month warranty.
We aim to have all our repairs completed within 2-3 business days, but will be able to give you a more definite timeframe once we have the units here.
We recommend servicing your variable speed pumps every 4 years, and offer this service as well. Prices for this service start at $595 and include the controller service.

Purchased a new house and after moving in, turned out that my saltwater chlorinator was on the fritz. Numerous pool shops said that I should just rip my old one out and install a chlorinator that they sell. Repairs weren't worth it, in their words. Managed to find Aquamech when looking for a replacement chlorinator. Rachel (at reception) gave me some solid advice by email and asked me to bring my old unit in. Turns out that the cost to repair the main PCB in my old Zodiac LM3-40's power supply (which was causing the problems) was less than a fifth of a new equivalent and the main repairer said that fixing this old unit up was better value than buying a brand new chlorinator. Bought a new generic replacement cell afterwards and the system is back to working flawlessly. Would highly recommend if you need repairs for your saltwater chlorinator.
Dropped my noisy pool pump (bearings and some other small issues) off at Aquamech on Monday morning at about 9:00am, received a call a couple of hours later detailing the problems and repair cost and was told that it would likely be ready by Tuesday afternoon. At 10:55am on Tuesday I was notified that it was ready for pick up! Just over 24 hours to repair my pump! I’m very impressed. The pump is now back at home and working well (quietly) just like it should. I found the cost to be very reasonable. I’ll be returning for any and all future pool pump maintenance of concerns.
