Poolrite pumps are one of the most popular swimming pool pumps made in Australia and are recognized by their quality, durability and quiet operation. The Gemini is no exception.
Although acquired by The Evolve Group in August 2013, Poolrite is still fully operational. Poolrite remains committed to deliver pool products of the highest quality while achieving excellent standards of service.
The Gemini Twin is powered by a traditional induction motor that has been proven to stand the test of time. Most other ECO pumps on the market are DC, while the Gemini Twin is a standard AC electric motor with a high & low speed winding.
Upgrading from a Poolrite SQ/SQI pump is easy, as the Gemini has the same plumbing.
The Poolrite Gemini is a two speed pump, and running it on low speed will give you the most savings. The only time you need to use high speed is for backwashing or for vacuuming your pool.
Facts are that a typical 1.25 HP pool pump costs approximately $600 per year to operate. The Gemini Twin, like all multi-speed pumps can slash these costs if operated effectively. But with the added benefits of proven motor technology and simple operation.
